Man charged over murder

A MAN has appeared in court in connection with the death of a 47-year-old man at a flat in Edinburgh's Stenhouse.

Mustafa Elsherkisi, 48, of Edinburgh, was charged with murder and assault to injury when he appeared in private at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday.

He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.

The alleged incident happened at around 10pm on 26 May, at Stenhouse Gardens North.
