Man charged over murder

A MAN has appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court charged with murder.

Gary Parker, 44, made a brief appearance in private before Sheriff Nigel Morrison QC yesterday. No plea or declaration was made and Parker was remanded in custody.

It follows the discovery of the body of 31-year old Lee Duncan in a flat in Lauriston Place on February 25 last year.
