Man is charged over Lothian house siege

Man A 30-YEAR-OLD man appeared in court yesterday following an alleged house siege in West Lothian.

Andrew Blake pled not guilty at Livingston Sheriff Court to assault and breach of the peace.

The charges were brought following a major police operation centred on Blake's home in Whitburn. Blake denied assaulting Clair Weir on 28 December.
