Man charged over flashing

A MAN has been arrested and charged after allegedly indecently exposing himself to a woman.

The 59-year-old man was set to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday following the incident, which happened at about 10.10pm on Thursday.

Officers have already spoken with one alleged female victim and believe that another woman may also have been approached in the Duncan Street area of Newington.

She is asked to contact police immediately.

A police spokesman said: "Anyone who was in Duncan Street or Minto Street and remembers anything suspicious is also asked to come forward."
