Man charged with murder of 49-year-old in Dundee street

A man has appeared in court charged with murdering another man who was found in a Dundee street.

Nigel Poustie, 49, died in hospital after he was found seriously injured in the city’s Charleston Drive on Monday.

Mark Anderson, 50, has appeared at Dundee Sheriff Court charged with his murder.

Anderson, who is from the city, made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.

He is expected to appear in court again on July 15.
