Man charged with assault

A 21-YEAR-OLD has appeared in court in connection with an alleged assault outside a nightclub in Bathgate.

Lee Houston, 21, from Bathgate, appeared in court charged with assault severe injury, impairment, disfigurement and danger of life.

The incident happened at 6.45pm on Boxing Day outside the Twig nightclub on Waverley Street. The 43-year-old victim was rushed to hospital.
