Man attacked twice permanently injured

A MAN has been left with “significant and permanent” injuries after being attacked twice in the space of 24 hours.

The 30-year-old was repeatedly hit on the head and body with a metal pole during an assault at around 8:30pm on Wednesday, on Dobbies Road, in Bonnyrigg, Midlothian. The following morning at around 10:30am, he was attacked again in the town’s High Street.
