Man arrested over carjacking

A MAN has been arrested in connection with the carjacking of a woman who was threatened and forced out her Jaguar X-type in the Capital.

Police today said a 20-year-old man is to be reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with the incident, which happened at the junction of Comiston Springs Avenue and Pentland Terrace on 9 December last year.

The 51-year-old woman's car was later recovered in Firhill Drive.
