Man arrested over alleged sex assault on toddler
A 37-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an alleged sexual assault on a toddler last week.
Police launched a major investigation into reports that a three-year-old boy was touched inappropriately in a park in Pennywell Gardens, north Edinburgh, last Tuesday.
The man was charged under Section 20 of the Sexual Offences Scotland Act 2009 today and will appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
