Man arrested in connection with carjacking

A MAN has been arrested in connection with the alleged carjacking of a woman who was threatened and forced out her Jaguar X-type.

A 20-year-old man is set to be reported to the procurator fiscal in connection with the alleged vehicle theft at the junction of Comiston Springs Avenue and Pentland Terrace on 9 December last year.

A 51-year-old woman was forced out of her Jaguar X-Type, which was then stolen but later recovered in Firhill Drive.
