Man arrested for attack

A MAN has been arrested and charged with assault in connection with an attack on a woman in a pub.

The 48-year-old, from West Port in Dunbar, was detained by police following the incident at the Black Bull Inn in the town's High Street at 6pm on Saturday.

The man is set to appear at Haddington Sheriff Court on 28 April.
