Man arrested after 23-year-old dies

A 23-YEAR-OLD man who died following an assault in Hamilton in the early hours of Saturday was named by police yesterday as Paul Connolly.

Mr Connolly, of East Wellbrae Crescent in the town, died after being taken to Hairmyres Hospital. A 19-year-old man has been arrested, and a report will be sent to the procurator-fiscal.
