Man accused of Princes Street Primark rape in court
A 20-YEAR-OLD man has made a second appearance on petition at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on a charge of rape.
Jonathan Duffy, from Edinburgh, made a brief appearance in private before Sheriff Michael O’Grady QC yesterday.
No plea or declaration was made and he was released on bail with special conditions.
His appearance follows reports of an alleged sexual assault on a woman near the Primark store on Princes Street in the early hours of Saturday, September 12.
The case is set to continue.
