Man, 80, dies after being hit by bin lorry

An ELDERLY man died after being knocked down by a bin lorry.

Tayside Police said the 80-year-old died at the scene in Kinross High Street at around 7am. No-one else was injured and the road was closed for investigation.

Police have asked witnesses to contact them.

A report is being prepared for the procurator fiscal.
