Man, 68, dies after falling into sea

A PENSIONER has died after falling off a harbour wall and into the sea. The 68-year-old man was pulled from the water after he fell from Pier 9 at Ayr harbour but was pronounced dead at the scene.

A police spokesman said: "We are trying to establish the circumstances surrounding his death."
