Man, 61, charged over Edinburgh flat scare
A MAN has appeared in court charged under the Terrorism Act following the evacuation of an Edinburgh tower block last week.
Faris Alkhori, 61, was charged under the Terrorism Act 2006 and the Explosive Substances Act 1883 when he appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday.
He made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody.
Fidra Court in the Muirhouse area of the city was evacuated on Friday night.
