Man, 56, charged with murder

A MAN has appeared in court charged with murder after David Brown, 40, was found fatally injured in a house in Newton Stewart, Wigtownshire, just after midnight on Saturday.

Paul McCann, 56, made no plea or declaration and was remanded in custody by Stranraer Sheriff Court.
