Man, 26, in court over blaze death

A 26-YEAR-OLD man has been charged with murder after a house fire at the weekend.

Darren Williamson is accused of killing James Williamson, 50, from Perth. Emergency services were called to a blaze on Lewis Place shortly after midnight on Sunday.

Williamson was charged with murder at Perth Sheriff Court. He was remanded in custody.
