Mall nets 25 million shoppers

ABERDEEN’S £275 million Union Square shopping mall has attracted more than 25 million shoppers, and helped create more than 1,450 jobs, since opening its doors two years ago, a new report has revealed.

The 19-acre retail and leisure development was opened in 2009 and includes more than 50 shops, a 203-bedroom hotel, a ten-screen cinema, restaurants and cafes and a multi-storey car park with 1,700 spaces.
