Making a splash for pool special

CLAD in authentic Victorian swimming costumes, members of the Drumsheugh Baths Club queued up for a dip to celebrate the waiving of its joining fee.

The fee waiver is the first in the club's 120-year history, and old-fashioned bathing costumes, straw boaters and fake moustaches were donned to mark the occasion at the Belford Road pool on Saturday. The joining fee will be waived from now until February 28, saving new members 520.
