Make plans for the future at careers fair

A LIFELONG Learning and Careers Fair is being held in Dalkeith next week.

Organised by the New Leaf Adult Guidance Service, the free event Your Future, Your Choice will take place on Wednesday 25 August in Dalkeith Library from 2-6pm.

Information, support and guidance will be available on Learning in the Community, college and university courses, flexible and part-time study, financial help for adult learners, dealing with redundancy, CV preparation and volunteering in the community.

Representatives will be on hand from colleges, universities and a number of partner agencies.

Cllr Peter Boyes, Cabinet Member for Education and Communities, said: "The careers fair is a great opportunity to get advice on the wide range of lifelong learning and career opportunities available here in Midlothian. If you're thinking about a career change, or about re-entering education, then why not drop in on the day to find out more?"
