Mains alert for drivers

MOTORISTS are being warned they face travel disruption as two major projects get under way to replace ageing gas mains.

Beginning on Monday, Scotia Gas Networks will be carrying out replacement works at North Junction Street and Lindsay Road and at Willowbrae Road in Jock's Lodge.

The two phased projects, which are costing 805,000 and 935,000 respectively, are expected to take between 16 and 18 weeks to complete.
