M80 crash: Woman taken to hospital after two-car crash near Glasgow

A 26-year-old woman was taken to hospital following a two-car collision near Glasgow.

The crash occurred at around 7.55am on Monday, at Junction 3 of the M80, near Stepps.

It is understood the woman, who was taken to Glasgow’s Royal Infirmary, suffered no major injuries in the crash.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “We were made aware of a two-car crash on the M80 near J3 around 7.55am.

“A 26-year-old woman has been taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary as a precaution.”
