Lynne goes extra miles

A CHARITY worker is undertaking a series of sporting challenges to raise money for the people she has been inspired by.

Lynne Williamson, a children and families worker with Scotland's leading HIV charity Waverley Care, will form part of a Waverley Care relay team in the Edinburgh Marathon and then, in June, she will cycle from London to Paris - a total of 310 miles.

She is also organising a charity comedy night to raise more funds on April 28 at Slainthe Mhath in Melville Place.
