Lucky escape for walker in gully fall

A MAN has escaped with minor head injuries after falling 50ft down a gully while walking with his wife.

The walker, 59, who was on holiday from Michigan in the United States, slipped while negotiating the Trotternish Ridge near Staffin on the Isle of Skye in the Highlands.
