Lottery cash for disabled charity group

A CHARITY working to improve the lives of people with physical disabilities has been awarded £2200 from the People’s Postcode Lottery.

Ecas will use the money to buy additional equipment to help with computer-based courses in digital photography, computer art and similar activities for people with disabilities.

Chief executive David Griffiths said: “We are really grateful to players of People’s Postcode Lottery for this funding, which has enabled us to get excellent equipment to run courses using graphics pads and computers for disabled people.

“We all have lots of digital photographs and this first course will teach people how to organise and use them using a variety of different software.”

The first course starts on January 14.
