Lothian Buses tunes into music festival

Lothian Buses has given its backing to the Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival by sponsoring one of its major events.

This year’s festival, July 20-29, will see more than 80 artists play across 14 Capital venues. The bus firm is sponsoring the Lazy Lester with the John Bruce Band concert at the Teatro Spiegeltent on Wednesday, July 26.

Ian Craig, managing director of Lothian Buses, said: “The Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival is renowned worldwide, attracting scores of overseas visitors and local residents to city venues hosting the fabulous sound of jazz.

“As the largest bus operator in Edinburgh, we hope our sponsorship, now running for over 15 years, will make a positive contribution to this important event in the Edinburgh calendar, one that is beloved by all with a passion for listening to the big sound and rhythm of jazz.”
