Lothian author gives out tips

A CHILDREN'S author is to host a writers workshop in East Lothian.

Linda Strachan will be offering advice to budding writers at Port Seton library next Wednesday from 7:30pm.

The Hamish McHaggis books, which are illustrated by East Lothian artist Sally Collins, are among her most popular series.

The author has also written picture books, non-fiction books and folk tales.
