A LORRY driver was taken to hospital after being cut free from his vehicle, which overturned and collided with a van.

Tayside Police said the accident happened at about 8:10am yesterday on the A90 Aberdeen to Dundee road, near the Brechin turn-off. The lorry, travelling south, overturned and crossed the central reservation, before colliding with a northbound Renault van.
