Listed office is due for switch

AN A-LISTED office building in York Place is set to be turned into two "houses of multiple occupation", or HMOs.

The property at 67 York Place, built in the late 18th century, is set to be converted, with a three-bed basement flat, and a six-bedroom HMO on the ground and first floors.

The owners have applied for permission for the change from the city council, which has recommended it for approval at its development management subcommittee on Wednesday.
