Lion King roars to West End record

Disney's The Lion King has achieved more success by breaking its own record for the highest annual gross in London's West End history.

The show exceeded its 2009 high by piling on an extra 2 million last year to take more than 34m. More than 820,000 people saw the show in 2010.
