Lies of Boy X that left innocent teacher's life and career in ruins

PROSECUTORS had claimed Miss McIntyre kissed a teenage boy when they took part in an alcohol-fuelled game of dare.

Gerald Baxter, prosecuting, conceded that the boy – who was drunk after consuming much of the cider – was unclear of how he and Miss McIntyre allegedly ended up in bed together and how the supposed sexual activity began. "But he does recall having sexual intercourse with her," Mr Baxter said. The teenager, who claimed he had gone around to the teacher's house "for a laugh", said the three boys questioned Miss McIntyre about her colleagues at the school.

He said she bought them two-litre bottles of Strongbow cider, which they consumed until they were drunk and started playing a game of dare.

The boy claimed: "My friend dared her to kiss me, but she was saying she shouldn't have to do that because it was a big deal."

The boy told the jury that Miss McIntyre relented, saying she would kiss him if the other two boys carried out a dare to "peck" each other on the lips.

The witness said the boys did carry out the dare and added: "Then she kissed me." The boy claimed he could not remember following her into the bedroom as he was drunk. But once in bed, he lied, she took her pyjama bottoms off and he climbed on top of her. "Did you have penetrative sex?" Mr Baxter asked. "Yes," the boy again lied. "When I climaxed, she pushed me off to one side and I fell asleep."

The court was told that the three boys left Miss McIntyre's home the next morning and that he later confided in a friend what he claimed had happened.
