Library in the palm of your hand

THE National Library of Scotland has launched a new app for iPod Touch and iPhone.

The free function allows users to view some of the library's most prized letters, manuscripts and documents from the likes of Charles Darwin to Jane Austen, Walter Scott and Lord Byron.
