Lib Dem MP's wife denies cat burglary

A LIBERAL Democrat MP's wife yesterday denied burgling the home of her husband's lover.

Christine Hemming, 52, married to Birmingham Yardley MP John Hemming, pleaded not guilty in crown court, and faces trial on 21 June.

She is alleged to have burgled the home of Emily Cox and stolen a tabby kitten to the value of 20.
