Lemper’s life is a cabaret

Award-winning Broadway star Ute Lemper is returning to Edinburgh for the first time in four years to perform a special concert of cabaret songs.

Lemper, one of the biggest names in musical theatre, is set to play at the Queen’s Hall in May.

The German’s career began at the age of 19 in the original Vienna production of Cats and has spanned more than three decades. Her last appearance in Edinburgh came in 2007.

Tickets for the May 4 gig go on sale tomorrow and can be bought from the Queen’s Hall box office on 0131-668 2019.
