Lectures’ record sales

The 2012 Edinburgh Lectures 20th anniversary series has enjoyed record ticket sales before the first event has even been held.

This year’s series, themed “Extraordinary Feats, Extraordinary People” and featuring talks from Kate Adie and the Dalai Lama, has already seen four lectures sold out.

Professor Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell will deliver the first lecture on Monday.
