Lecture marks artist's birth

ONE of the finest Venetian masterpieces in the collection of the National Galleries of Scotland is to be discussed to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the artist's birth.

Jacopo Bassano's Adoration of the Kings is on display at the National Gallery of Scotland, and this year marks the anniversary of Bassano's birth.

A free lecture is being held in the Weston Link of the National Gallery Complex on The Mound on Friday, 5 February, and starts at 12:45pm.
