EXPERTS will share their knowledge of one of the most important archaeological sites in the Lothians during an event this weekend.

To coincide with Scottish Archaeology Month and West Lothian Walking Week, guides will offer tours of Cairnpapple Hill near Torphichen.

When excavated in the late 1940s, the summit of Cairnpapple was found to be crowned with ceremonial and burial monuments, with the earliest dating from 5,500 years ago.
