Learn Stone Age skills

ASPIRING archeologists can learn the secrets of prehistoric tool-making with a workshop exploring Stone Age survival skills.

Hosted by staff at John Muir's Birthplace in Dunbar, budding Indiana Joneses can learn how our ancient ancestors fashioned tools and weapons from hard stone as well as gaining an insight into the life of an early human.

The free workshop, run in association with Archeology Scotland and BBC Hands on History, offers free experimental archeological activities and is certain to appeal to those with an interest in early man, his ingenuity and survival skills.

The event, which takes place on Sunday from 2pm to 4pm, is open to all, but children aged under 12 must ensure they are accompanied by an adult.
