Lawyer says client is too fat for jail

A DUTCH lawyer is attempting to get his client out of jail with an unusual argument: he is too tall and fat for his cell.

"He is a giant of a man," said Bas Martens yesterday of his client, "Angelo M", who is 6ft 10in tall and weighs 230kg. He is being held in a 10 square metre cell.
