Law firm to axe 40 staff

A LEADING Scottish law firm with an office in the Capital is to axe legal staff.

McGrigors, which employs 800 people across the UK, is to cut about 40 senior associate and other lawyer posts and support staff.

Consultation on redundancies is under way. The job losses are expected to be across its operations in Scotland, England and Northern Ireland.
