Latest Porty artwork full of character

ARTIST Simon Grennan joins his latest artwork, The Giant Avatar of Portobello, commissioned by the Big Things on The Beach public art trust.

In creating the piece, Mr Grennan asked Portobello residents, "If Portobello was a character, what character would it be?"

The inflatable is due to be on Portobello beach at the foot of King's Road today from 2pm until 6pm, in Pitville Street tomorrow from 2pm until 6pm, and on Portobello High Street from 10am until 2pm on Monday.
