Late trains to Glasgow bid

CAMPAIGNERS have called for trains between Glasgow and Edinburgh to run later into the night at weekends.

Transform Scotland, which lobbies for improvements in public transport, said the last train should be extended to 12.30am from 11.30pm.

Colin Howden, director of Transform Scotland, said: "While there may not currently be a case for all-night trains between Edinburgh and Glasgow, we believe services should be extended at weekends."
