Last dregs of brewery site

DIGGERS have been taking down the last remnants of the former brewery at Viewforth this week.

Brown and Mason began dismantling the former Fountainbridge Brewery in September 2010 and is expected to have completed the work by the end of August.

It is hoped the site will become a mixed-use area, including residential, retail, leisure and student housing.
