Labour councillor suspended after being charged over child porn
A COUNCILLOR in North Lanarkshire is said to have been suspended after being charged with child pornography offences.
Scottish Labour has suspended councillor David Fagan, who represents the Airdrie South ward. The BBC reports he is due to appear in court this week.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “A 52 year-old man was arrested on Wednesday 7 September 2016. He was released on an undertaking to appear at Airdrie Sheriff Court on Thursday 6 October 2016.”
