Knifeman is sent to prison

A MAN who brandished two knives outside a police station and challenged officers to come and get him has been jailed for a year.

He was arrested just minutes after making the challenge, Livingston Sheriff Court heard yesterday. Jamie Taylor, 23, described as a prisoner, was charged with committing a breach of the peace by brandishing the blades and uttering threats of violence.

He was jailed for a year after he admitted committing the offence outside Whitburn Police Station, West Lothian on September 19.
