Knifeman robs woman

POLICE are hunting a robber who held up a young woman at knifepoint in Leith.

The suspect approached the 23-year-old from behind as she walked into Stead's Place at about 1.30am yesterday. He produced a knife and robbed her of her bag before running off.

The suspect is white, and was wearing dark-coloured clothing with a balaclava or hooded top.
