Kneesy does it for Rody

Romance was in the air at the National Museum of Scotland yesterday when Dutchman Rody Bonnikhorst took advantage of Valentine's Day to propose to girlfriend Gina De Decker.

Ms De Decker was delighted to accept, and said: "It's such a romantic city".

The couple met while Mr Bonnikhorst was studying in Scotland, and visited the Capital six years ago.

They decided to return from home town Eindhoven for a long weekend, and Mr Bonnikhorst chose the roof terrace of the Tower Restaurant to pop the question.

He added: "We visited Edinburgh when I lived in Scotland. We had a great time. We had such a good time. We always wanted to come back. I wanted to take those good memories into this special moment."
