Kitchin gives pupils food for thought

MICHELIN star chef Tom Kitchin was looking on as pupils from Granton Primary School enjoyed some tasty treats on a visit to his award-winning restaurant The Kitchin.

These intrepid youngsters were among the pupils brave enough to try freshly delivered oysters as part of the trip.

The outing saw the students given the rare chance to watch the chef prepare an array of colourful local produce, which also included a live, freshly caught lobster.

Around 25 pupils, aged ten and 11, went on the trip.
