King's panto team reunited as Gray signs up

EDINBURGH'S favourite panto team are to be reunited at The King's this year, after a break of four years.

Audiences' favourite Andy Gray is to return to the fold to star alongside resident dame Allan Stewart and Grant Stott in this year's production of Jack And The Beanstalk.

Announcing Gray's return exclusively to the Evening News, Michael Harrison, MD of Qdos Pantomimes, the company that produces The King's panto, said: "With Andy back with the gang again, I'm sure Edinburgh audiences are in for a real treat."

Mr Gray, who will play King Crumble in the production said, "It's marvellous news, I'm thrilled. It's one of those things that I have been hoping would happen at some point but when the offer came it was out of the blue."

The King's 2006 production of Cinderella was the last to feature Mr Gray and Mr Stewart's comic sparring. Prior to that, the actor who made his name in the TV sketch show Naked Video had appeared in numerous King's pantos, his first being in 1993.
